Kangaloon Crickets was born thanks to some creative problem-solving.


We are passionate about fuelling bodies with good food. Nutrition matters. 
We are also passionate about sustainability. This world is running out of resources. 

This combination—nutrition and sustainability—raises interesting questions. 

What's the future of food? How can we care for our bodies and care for the environment? Kangaloon Crickets is our answer.
 
80% of the global population eats insects. It's time for Australia to catch-up, for the sake of our planet.
Crickets are a sustainable and nutrient dense source of protein. They require 2000x less water than cattle, and produce 99% less methane. Plus, compared to beef, they provide double the amount of protein and almost triple the amount of iron. 

It seems like an obvious choice to us. That's why we started Kangaloon Crickets. We farm our crickets on a beautiful property in Australia's Southern Highlands and use only organic feed.
